When it comes to a baby hamper for a baby’s room, you want to think of a couple of things before you actually make your purchase. First of all, you want to make sure that you choose a hamper that if it falls over it isn’t going to hurt the baby. So you may want to choose a durable plastic or wicker over a wood hamper. You should also consider the height and shape. A low hamper is nice because it gives the baby something to pull up on, however it gives baby full access to the cloths inside of the hamper. Taller hampers prevent access but provides one more thing that the baby cannot touch.

You should also consider whether or not the hamper has any parts sticking out. A baby hamper needs to be baby friendly. If you choose something that has sharp corners or has small pieces as decoration that can be pulled of and become a choking hazard for the baby, so keep that in mind. You can have a hamper painted to match the baby’s room as well, just be sure that the paint cannot peel off and cause another danger to the baby.
